Common questions

What kinds of projects does Kinland take on?
Whole-home remodels, custom additions, ADUs and garage conversions, structural retrofits for large door and glazing systems, and construction management for owners who already have drawings.
Do you work from an architect’s plans?
Yes. Most of our work is construction-led and design-coordinated: we build from your architect’s and engineer’s drawings, and we join those meetings early so the details are buildable.
Where do you work?
Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield, Washougal, and greater Clark County, plus the Portland metro area. If you are further out, ask anyway — we take select projects outside that range.
How much does a project cost?
Cost depends on scope, structure, and finish level, so we do not publish square-foot pricing. After a site visit we send an itemized estimate with real allowances instead of a placeholder number.
