Process
Four stages, no surprises
Precision is a process, not a promise. Here is exactly how a Kinland project moves from first conversation to the day you get the keys.
- 01
Consultation
We walk the site, talk through scope and priorities, and give you an honest read on feasibility.
- 02
Estimate & Plan
You get a line-item budget, a realistic schedule, and a clear scope before anyone picks up a tool.
- 03
Build
A dedicated lead runs the site daily, with weekly updates so you always know what happens next.
- 04
Walkthrough
We punch out the details together, hand over documentation, and stand behind the work.
Commitments
What holds true on every job
One name on the job
A single lead owns your project from first walk-through to final punch list. You never chase a call center.
Numbers before shovels
Line-item pricing with real allowances, so you know where every dollar sits before demolition begins.
Documented decisions
Selections, changes, and approvals are written down. Nothing important lives only in a conversation.
Standards that outlast us
The signature goes on the work. If a detail would not pass our own inspection, it does not ship.
Common questions
- How long does a remodel or addition take?
- Most whole-home remodels run four to eight months on site, additions three to six, and ADUs four to seven. We give you a stage-by-stage schedule with the estimate, and we do not start demolition until permits and long-lead materials are secured.
- What happens at the first site visit?
- We walk the space with you, measure what matters, talk through budget range and priorities, and flag anything structural or permit-related early. The visit is free and there is no obligation to hire us.
- How do change orders work?
- Nothing changes price or schedule without your written approval. Each change order shows the added labor, materials, and any schedule impact before we proceed.
- Do you pull the permits and handle inspections?
- Yes. We pull permits in our own name, coordinate the inspection schedule with your jurisdiction, and hand over the signed final inspection card with the closeout package.
Built to bear our name.
Tell us the scope. We walk the site, put real numbers on it, and give you a straight read on feasibility before anyone picks up a tool.
